Microneedling + PRP Facial

Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine and is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to naturally produce collagen and elastin.  Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels which can be used with topical gels, creams and serums to help improve the appearance of the epidermal layer of the skin.

The "Microneedling + PRP Facial" is a celebrity celebrated skin treatment that consists of Microneedling and the use of PRP. PRP stands for "Platelet Rich Plasma" in which is an element found in blood. PRP utilizes a patient's own growth factors to promote tissue health.

"...ideal for patients looking to address skin clarity, texture, laxity, and improve overall appearance..."

Lakewood Aesthetic's aesthetic professionals perform these treatments by customizing a Microneedling treatment based on the conditions a patient wants to treat ( i.e. fine lines, pigmentation, overall skin rejuvenation).  Then, our wonderful phlebotomist takes 30-60cc of blood. The blood then is placed in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells and PRP. This "liquid gold" is utilized during the Microneedling procedure, in which the PRP is able to be absorbed thoroughly by the skin. This procedure is ideal for patients looking to address skin clarity, texture, laxity, and improve overall appearance. The "glow" is real with this treatment! A medical spa and office favorite!
