Donda West's funeral was held Tuesday in Spencer, Okla., drawing her tearful son Kanye and music stars Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Anita Baker.
Kanye West broke down when speaking of his mother, whose champagne-colored coffin arrived at the Vine Ministries church in a white hearse True. He said he wanted her not to "rest in peace, but rest in paradise," according to Entertainment Tonight.
In his short speech, the rapper also told people he was to say a few words because his mother wanted him and told him to "go there", said the people invited.
Baker sang "Summertime" while John Legend played the piano. Donda West was a big fan of Baker and had attended her show in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. R & B Erykah Badu and rapper / producer Pharrell Williams also attended.
"It was a beautiful service," said one guest.
