The real steal: Get the Eat and Play combo so you can choose from one of nine entrees and get a $10 video game card for $15.99 or a $20 video game card for $23.99. The price of the entree alone is $13-$14. Also, enjoy your favorite drinks twice as much with half-price cocktails and $2.50 domestic pints for beer lovers. There also is a power hour deal, where for $10 you get an hour of video game play during the regular happy hour (4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday). Add to that Dave & Buster's plethora of appetizer choices ranging from $5 to $15.

The vibe: This bar is laid-back and relaxed with fun pops of color, dim lighting and plenty of televisions located around the bar. Plus, there's an entire arcade full of games to play and prizes to win.

Signature drink: Every kind of cocktail is available and made just as you like it. The waiters are happy to switch up a drink, such as making a Chocolate Mudslide into a strawberry one instead. Try an unusual beverage such as the Candy Shop or a classic, generous drink such as the Million Dollar Margarita.

Bathroom break: The many stalls cut the wait short, so this won't interfere with your power hour play or after-work drink session. Plenty of lighting, mirrors and counter space make it easy for you to retouch your look before heading out.

Alternative libations: Since video game play can also cater to a younger age group, there are many nonalcoholic drinks available such as virgin margaritas, piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. Anyone under 21 is allowed into Dave & Buster's when accompanied by an adult older than age 25.

Something extra: Sit or stand at an arcade game. For a classic high-speed game, take a seat at the SR Sega Racing Classic or the Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII. Or, for a slightly different experience, try the NASCAR Bay Tek Showdown, where you sit and race a mini-car on a glass screen. In Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, players test their air-combat skills as they experience the most famous battles of World War II. As a squadron leader, players can fly up to 39 WWII aircraft in both single-player and multiplayer missions. The game features squadron-based combat, in which each artificial intelligence wingman’s specialized skill can be used to the pilot’s advantage. During the course of the 18-mission campaign, players will evolve along with their wingmen into an ace fighting force. The heroic storyline that follows the evolution of a single squadron and the cinematic presentation create moments reminiscent of classic World War II movies. Pilots fly in close to Germany’s industrial terrain during a bombing raid or emerge from the fog and cloud cover over London to engage the enemy.
