No new deaths were reported. The latest identifications reported by the military:

Sgt. Omar A. Jones, 28, of Crook, Colo., died Monday in Balkh province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 126th Chemical Battalion, 92nd Troop Command, Nebraska Army National Guard, Wahoo, Neb.

Two soldiers died Tuesday in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device. They were assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. They were:

Staff Sgt. James M. Christen, 29, of Loomis, Calif.

Sgt. Jacob Molina, 27, of Houston, Texas.

Iraq: As of Thursday, at least 4,473 members of the U.S. military had died in the Iraq War since it began in 2003, according to the AP.

No new deaths or identifications were reported by the military.

The 92nd Infantry Division was a unit of the United States Army in World War I and World War II. Organized in October 1917 at Camp Funston, Kansas, the unit was formed with African American soldiers from all states. Before leaving for France in 1918, the buffalo was selected as the divisional insignia due to the Buffalo Soldiers nickname, given to African American cavalrymen by Native Americans in the 19th century. The "Buffalo Soldiers Division" nickname was inherited from the 367th Infantry, one of the first units of the division organized.
