Bay State Savings Bank has announced that Lisa A. Perrin, of Chelmsford, has been named senior vice president for retail banking and investments at its 30 Franklin St. headquarters in Worcester.

Ms. Perrin joined Bay State in 2006 as vice president, marketing manager. Previously she was with Workers' Credit Union in Fitchburg. She attended Fitchburg State College and serves on the Better Business Bureau's board of directors.

GFA Federal Credit announced that Laurie Serpa , of Templeton, has joined the credit union as loan originator. Ms. Serpa graduated from the Lee Institute School of Real Estate, and has an extensive background in mortgage financing.

Dorothy A. Hauver, of Auburn , has been named director of finance and assistant treasurer, a new position, at the College of the Holy Cross. Prior to joining Holy Cross, Ms. Hauver worked in the audit practice at KPMG LLP in Boston. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Barry Communications of Worcester has announced that Amanda L. Halperin, of Southboro, has been appointed customer support coordinator. Before joining Barry Communications, she was with TJX Corp. in Framingham and Sepracor Inc. in Marlboro. Ms. Halperin has a bachelor's degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pa.

The Training Associates has announced the hiring of Jim Moore, of Walpole, as director of finance. He has more than 25 years of experience as a financial leader for corporations and was most recently the controller and operations manager for Cue Data Services in Norwell. Mr. Moore graduated from Trinity University College in Dublin and has taken graduate courses at the University of Massachusetts at Boston.

Christopher D. Foley, of Grafton, has been promoted to senior vice president at UniBank. In this position, Mr. Foley is responsible for retail banking, call center service, investment services and facilities. Prior to joining UniBank, he was the senior vice president/director of branch administration at Citizens Bank. Mr. Foley received a bachelor's degree from Bentley University and a master's degree in business administration from Suffolk University.
