Ubaldo Dinner: The St. Ubaldo Society Cultural Center, 310 Third. Ave., Jessup, will hold a ribeye steak dinner Friday, July 22, at 5 p.m. The menu will include a ribeye steak, tossed salad, roasted parsleyed potatoes, corn on the cob, coffee and dessert. Church Picnic: Christ The King Parish will hold its second annual picnic Friday through Sunday, July 22-24, on St. Mary's Church grounds at Betty and Main streets, Eynon. featuring homemade ethnic foods, baked goods, games, prizes, baskets and bingo. Entertainment will be Sweet Pepper & the Long Hots (formerly Them Again) Friday at 6:30 p.m.; Take Three Saturday at 6 p.m. and Joe Stanky & The Cadets Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Bus Trip: Marian Community Hospital Auxiliary will host a bus trip to Woodloch Pines Saturday, July 23, departing from the Weis parking lot in Carbondale at 4 p.m. The cost is $70, which includes transportation, dinner and show ticket. Call 282-2082 for more information.

Benefit Poker Run: The Jason Corazzi Memorial Poker Run will be held Sunday, July 24, beginning at the Wildcat Saloon & Eatery, Route 247, Sturges, where registration will begin at 9 a.m. with kickstands up at noon. Registration fee is $20 per rider; $10 per passengers. The run concludes at Lake Genero, Route 590 in Lake Ariel. Proceeds will benefit Lucinda Shaefer in her battle against leukemia. VFW Barbecue: Shopa-Davey Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6082 will conduct its annual chicken barbecue Sunday, July 24, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the post home. 123 Electric St., Peckville. Eat in or take out. Tickets are available at the post, from a member or by calling 383-0501.

Park Concert: The fifth annual summer concert in the park, sponsored by the Jermyn Events Committee and the Lackawanna County Commissioners, will be held Sunday, July 24, 6-8 p.m. at the Edward "Rippy" Callahan Sports Complex, Mellow Court, Jermyn. The music will be provided by the Continentals. Free hot dogs and soda will be provided during the concert. Bring a chair or blanket.

Church Concert: St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 25 Hillcrest Drive, Dickson City, will host a performance of acoustic music by Marty Miller Sunday, July 24, at 7 p.m. A free will offering will be taken. Light refreshments will be served following the concert. Call 489-2462 for more information.
